Geopark

In the heart of the Alps of the Lake Geneva, the territory of Chablais possesses an exceptional geologic inheritance. As such, was recognized " European and world Géopark " UNESCO in March, 2012. 
Indeed the landscape tells an old story of 250 million years. On 50 km, Chablais reflects the history of the formation of the Alps! 
This remarkable natural space soaks the culture and the life of its inhabitants and its numerous visitors. The traditional built, the custom of the mountain, the life in high mountain pasture, the tales and the legends, natural resources are so many witnesses of these strong links between the man and the nature.
